“25 Days of Living in the Light!”

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2

For our project, we decided to make cookies for the front-line workers for this holiday season. We decided to choose this project because we felt we should give back to the community and all the hard workers, especially during such a difficult and busy time of year. We thought some homemade cookies might help get them through this holiday season. I think everyone can use a little kindness in their lives this Christmas season! This project is so important to us because we know first-responders, through family and friends, and we know how hard they work all year long, and how hard it is to do what they do. This time of year is very important and the little things can really make a big difference in someone’s day. We hope to have maybe increased the joy in these peoples’ lives a little today. This project fits well into our Christian Faith because the Lord answers our prayers through the service we give to others. By being an example of Christlike service, we were able to help others return to their Christian faith by encouraging them to serve others, just like what they do every single day. We were able to bring the encouragement and faithfulness of God into their lives today and hope that they might continue with this. We see God in the process of being able to brighten one’s day and allowing us to be able to spread love and joy to those who might need a little help seeing the Light this season!
