Music at Faith

We offer a variety of music groups at Faith and hope you’ll consider to join in on the fun and fellowship in the midst of our musical praise. Whether it be vocal or instrumental, traditional or contemporary, you’ll find an opportunity to serve!

Music at Faith
Senior Choir

Faith's Senior Choir leads the 9:15 AM service in song each Sunday and also sings at major non-Sunday services such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday. The choir is open to all singers aged 14 and up and rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:30 PM to 9 PM, from September through early June. New members are always welcome; in addition, each Advent and Lent, singers who may be unable to make a long-term commitment to the choir are welcome to join the "Faith Festival Choir" in preparing music for Christmas Eve and Easter, respectively.

Music at Faith
Rock of Ages Praise Band

Our praise band, Rock of Ages, leads the 11:00 AM contemporary worship service during the academic year providing a more casual atmosphere than the earlier traditional service settings. The music is contemporary Christian, from rock to ballads to contemplative songs for communion. The instruments currently include piano, rhythm and lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, and occasionally flute, trumpet, harmonica, violin, saxophone, banjo, mandolin...you get the idea. Almost any instrument can be part of the ensemble. And of course there are singers, too! The band's unofficial motto is "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord," and rehearsals (Sundays at 9:45 AM) are usually filled with laughter as well as music. Members don't have to be there every week.

Ringers of Faith
Ringers of Faith

The adult Handbell Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM from September to mid-June. All high school students and adults are welcome to join this group.

Special Music

Faith is blessed to have many members of our congregation that are willing to share their musical talents. These musicians contribute to the worship service and/or concerts throughout the year. The summer months are an especially good time to enjoy the special music since the choir, handbells, and chimes are not active during this time.
