I used my $25 dollar gift card to donate to Folds of Honor; a charity which aims to provide scholarships to children and spouses of America’s fallen and injured veterans. My parents decided to match my $25, making our total contribution $50. Supporting our nation’s service men and women who sacrifice so much for us is something that I truly believe in. One of their main fundraising events are golf tournaments held around the country. As golf is my favorite sport, the combination of the two leads me to really appreciate this charity. An education is necessary for everyone, and giving them to veterans’ family members is just one way we can say thank you.
