Congratulations to all Fly kids (Grades 6th-9th) who organized a Pancake Breakfast on Veteran’s Day last Sunday! We had over 12 kids participate in this event and I think we served over 70-80 people! It was awesome!!! There was blueberry, chocolate chip and plain pancakes as well as sausages, juice, milk and coffee! Thank you

This past Saturday, the Super Fly Group took part in this year’s annual Bread Making for Seniors event! The kids helped make loaves of fresh Pumpkin Bread, Banana Blueberry Bread and White Chocolate Chip Cranberry Cookies to give to the Seniors, Prime Timers and Shut-Ins of the church! The Fly Group (Grades 6th-9th) got together to make 40 bag lunches for Faith Lutheran Church’s Habitat for Humanity Day! The kids had a great time making lunches and the adults even helped out too! Plus, there was even time for hanging out afterward too!!! Great job goes to these kids for helping out! This

This Saturday, Faith Lutheran Church participated in Habitat for Humanity’s “Building on Faith Day” sponsored by Thrivent!!! We had over 20 volunteers from Faith participating in two locations in Lawrence! What a great time we all had and it was really fun working side by side with one another and giving back to the community!
