“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

– Margaret Meade

I am just so proud of the kids and parents. Ten Super Fly Kids (High School) and five parent chaperones joined us for making Sandwiches, Blankets and Care Kits to give out to the Homeless in Boston. The kids made the sandwiches and blankets; we played some games, had some pizza and went into Boston. We passed out about 25 Blankets, 25 Emergency Care Kits and 25 Sandwiches to the Homeless in the Kenmore Square, Copley and Haymarket areas. We wish there wasn’t a need for this event. But I am so proud or these folks that they want to share God’s love and help out those in need. A big thank you to all the parents who chaperoned that night. I couldn’t do half of what I do without you. And a big thank you to Polortec in Lawrence for donating all the fleece to make blankets that were given out. I think these kids can teach us a thing or two about service to others. I am grateful that they include me in this group! It is pretty awesome!!
