Hi, my name is Duncan. I donated a live goat through ELCA Good Gifts to people in need. We spent $25 from the Gift Card from the church and matched it with $25 of our own from our family. The goat will go to a family that doesn’t have as much as we do and really needs it. A goat can help people by giving goat milk, goat meat, or money from trading it at the market. We thought of donating a goat because my grandfather used to like supporting charities and donating gifts like goats at the holiday time of year. It is a great way to remember the Spirit of Giving that my grandfather used to like to do. His spirit is kept alive in our hearts. I hope the people will like the goat. It felt good to be a part of this.
