Our goal was to raise $1000.00 so the kids could package meals for Lazarus House. Unfortunately, we did not meet our goal… We actually stunningly raised $2000 for meals for Lazarus House!!! That is over 7000 meals!!! Image eating your lunch and that is one meal. Now times it by 7000 and that is what we will bring over to Lazarus House. That is what these kids worked on. We had 12 participants that day. And we all stayed masked up (and hair nets on) and were socially distanced! The kids had a great job putting the meals together. Everyone had their favorite job!!! It was really a great day!!! A big thank you to Matthew Martin from The Outreach Program for leading us in this activity. It was a really fantastic!!! And the kids had a lot of fun working for others. Also, a big thank you to the parents who brought kids and helped us pack meals. And to all the Congregation members and friends who donated to this worthwhile cause! It was really great!!! What a fun thing to do!!! You are all awesome! And take care!!! You all rock!!!
