A note from Brookelyn’s Mom, Olivia – So you can’t see the items in the photo but Brookelynn wrote what she donated in the paragraph to the Daybreak Homeless Shelter in Lawrence MA. She also handed the director of Daybreak Homeless Shelter in Lawrence MA another gift card. That is what she is holding in the picture. Brookelynn’s grandma also knit a dozen hats which we brought down there too. Thank you for giving us the gift card, it was great to help, and they really expressed great appreciation.
We went to Daybreak Shelter. We gave them a dozen hats, some tooth brushes, tooth paste, bandaids, and some food like spaghetti, soup, oatmeal, jello and hot cocoa. It is not much but I am sure they are grateful.
