Normally, we have some sort of Chili Supper and Youth Talent Show during the time of Lent. It is just a nice way for the people in the congregation to get together during the time of reflection and the colder Winter months. With Covid-19, that was kind of out of the picture this Lenten Season. However, we did have the first eva Youth Talent Show via Zoom. We had 12 kids from all different ages submit acts and send in videos to share with the congregation. I have to say I am pretty biased but they were all amazing! They really were great! This was also a fundraiser for the Youth Mission Trip this summer and we had a few kids tune in an talk about what the Youth Mission Trip meant to them and how it effected their faith. They were really awesome too!!! Together, we raised close to $1000.00 for the Youth Mission Trip this Summer. That was really amazing!!! Thank you to all the kids who submitted acts. They were all great. Thank you to the Hempsteads for being our phone bank operators. Thank you to the Breilands for being our tote board experts. And thank you to Chros Colford for being the technical guru! And thank you to all the individuals who supported us and donated to this. You are all awesome!!!! And I thank you so much.
