Thank you for letting me participate in this gift card program. I used the gift card to buy groceries for a food pantry. From that experience, I learned how to buy groceries by myself, what it is like shopping for groceries on a budget, and what foods last longer over time. This experience fits into my Christian faith because I was trying to help people who might be in need this Christmas Season. I have everything that I need. And maybe they don’t even have enough to eat. It was important to me to try and help them. I wanted to make sure those people had something to eat for the holidays. The experience also made me thankful for everything I have in my life. I have my parents, my family, a roof over my head and enough to eat. I think God would want me to help others. In the end, this makes Him really happy. Isn’t that what life is all about.
