“25 Days of Living In The Light”
He said:
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:1-10

Every year it is good to give back, especially this year through these tough times it is important to remember to spread christmas cheer. With my gift certificate I got warm winter hats, gloves, and socks and went into boston on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to hand them out. We drove around until we saw the people in need, then stopped our car and got out to meet them. We gave them what they needed. The joy that was brought to their faces by a simple kind gesture showed how anything in life that we have is a blessing and made me want to help people more. One of the first ladies we met during this day was named Mandy, she was so kind and showed a lot of gratefulness that we were giving her these winter necessities. It is going to be getting colder in Boston, and there are people who still have to live on the streets, anything that is donated to homeless shelters or given out on the street is a great way to help. Lets make our world a better place, helping one person at a time.
