For my project with the “25 Days of Living in the Light: gift cards, I decided to buy food and blankets. I went and bought vegetables, rice, bread, and lots and lots of beans. I hope that people who are hungry will like this stuff. I think that this was such a good idea for people to use their money for a good cause and to help people who are less fortunate than we are. I used up one gift card for food and my brother went to CVS to buy some fuzzy blankets for people without any home. I hope they when they get cold, they can use these blankets to warm up. Maybe when they use them, they will know someone else cares for them. I hope that these items that we got help the people at Neighbors and Need and thank you for letting us take part in this. It is nice to be able to show God’s love. And it is really nice to be able to help those that don’t have a lot. Especially at Christmas Time. It is really a nice thing to be able to show God’s love to others in this world.
