Or again, \u201cI will be his Father, and he will be my Son\u201d?\u00a0<sup>6<\/sup>And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, \u201cLet all God\u2019s angels worship him.\u201d\u00a0<sup>7<\/sup>Of the angels he says, \u201cHe makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of fire.\u201d\u00a0<sup>8<\/sup>But of the Son he says, \u201cYour throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.\u00a0<sup>9<\/sup>You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.\u201d\u00a0<sup>10<\/sup>And, \u201cIn the beginning, Lord, you founded the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands;\u00a0<sup>11<\/sup>they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like clothing;\u00a0<sup>12<\/sup>like a cloak you will roll them up, and like clothing they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will never end.\u201d\u00a0<sup>13<\/sup>But to which of the angels has he ever said, \u201cSit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet\u201d?\u00a0<sup>14<\/sup>Are not all angels spirits in the divine service, sent to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About 15 years ago my life completely changed.&nbsp; Instead of being able to get out of the house and go wherever I needed to go, I was homebound.&nbsp; Why?&nbsp; It was because of a mammography and a biopsy that I received the affirmation that I had an aggressive breast cancer.&nbsp; My immune system was already compromised by other issues but this meant I was even more vulnerable.&nbsp; Going to church was not possible while I was receiving chemotherapy and radiation.&nbsp; This was so difficult to accept.&nbsp; I really needed my church family to be there for me in this trying time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reading God\u2019s Word daily in a book of devotions and readings based on the Bible were my constant companions.&nbsp; Journaling was also most helpful.&nbsp; However, I needed the human interaction.&nbsp; This is when the angels came into my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just when I thought I was alone or had a question or worry a thoughtful angel sent me an angelic Teddy bear. &nbsp;Another time which made me smile, a CD to listen to during chemo infusions was sent to me by a loving friend.&nbsp; Emails with funny or encouraging messages would appear in the computer each day thanks to loving friends, angels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God was always there for me, as was his Son, Jesus.&nbsp; One message that calmed my anxieties was from Isaiah 41:10, \u201cDo not fear, for I am with you.\u201d&nbsp; This, too was shared with me by another angel.&nbsp; I thank God for sending us angels who are a most important part of our faith walk, especially during these trying times we are now experiencing.&nbsp; God promises to be faithful no matter where our journey takes us.&nbsp; He assure us in Isaiah that He will \u201c\u2026strengthen you\u2026 help you\u2026 and uphold you with my victorious\u2026 hand.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Caroline Kettner Hebrews 1:5-14 5For to which of the angels did God ever say, \u201cYou are my Son; today I have begotten you\u201d?
