Pat Tillman was a safety for the Arizona Cardinals who left the NFL after 9\/11 to serve in the US Army, where he was killed in action. The Foundation was started after his death to support veterans and their families who lead by serving and making a difference in the world. This donation fits into my Christian Faith as I believe strongly in the importance and value of serving others, especially veterans. My view is that they have already done so much for all of us, so it is right that we give back to honor them. God calls us to serve through our faith, and this is one of the causes that I am passionate about. We know many people who serve our country. And we wish to honor their service.
