made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ps 118:24&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I love this simple verse for so many reasons.&nbsp; First, today is, in fact, a brand-new day.&nbsp; It is a fresh start.&nbsp; Whatever we did or didn\u2019t do yesterday, today is a chance to wake up and try again.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think sometimes it\u2019s easy to get mired in the shoulda, coulda, woulda\u2019s of life, and this verse in Psalm\u2019s is a reminder to see the gift in this brand-new day; it\u2019s a chance to let go of whatever didn\u2019t work, didn\u2019t get us where we hope to be, who we want to be, whatever thing is holding us up and start again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This verse also is a reminder to me that God is here with me.&nbsp; He has created this day, in his infinite wisdom, with all the power and beauty He has, He created&nbsp;<strong>this<\/strong>&nbsp;day.&nbsp; He is here.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So when it is cold and rainy, God is there&nbsp; When the birds are chirping, God is there.&nbsp; When I am brewing my coffee, God is definitely there, and so, so wise!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I start the day with this reminder, I find it is easier throughout my day to allow God to be there as well, all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, I truly appreciate all reminders to rejoice.&nbsp; Life can be wearisome, there are big and little problems, and they can grind us down.&nbsp; It is so easy to feel overwhelmed, to start the day with our to-do list and just put our head down and get busy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But this Psalm assures us the joy is there, God made sure it is there, we just have to stop and let it be so.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dawn
