What is good news to your neighbors?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over and over again, I\u2019m struck by the realization that for many of us, it\u2019s hard to believe, but the good news of God in Christ is simply that we are good enough; that God delights in us as we are; that there\u2019s nothing we should do to be more acceptable\/more loved by God and there\u2019s nothing we have done that would make us less acceptable\/less loved by God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So on Saturday morning, just before noon, our Confirmation youth stood outside of church and held up signs of affirmation: \u201cYay, You!\u201d; \u201cYou rock!\u201d; \u201cIt will be okay\u201d; \u201cBreathe\u2026\u201d; \u201cYou\u2019re awesome!\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We got a lot of honks, thumbs up, and smiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proclaiming the good news isn\u2019t hard\u2026but sad to say, it seems quite rare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are good enough as you are. God delights in you.
