He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. \u2018Look after him,\u2019 he said, \u2018and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u201cWhich of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The expert in the law replied, \u201cThe one who had mercy on him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Jesus told him, \u201cGo and do likewise.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Luke 10: 33-37<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>With the $25.00 gift card from church, I went to Target and bought toys for kids who will be in Tufts Children\u2019s Hospital on Christmas Day. I know these kids aren\u2019t going to be able to spend Christmas Eve in their own beds and they won\u2019t be in their own homes with their families on Christmas morning like I will be. And I wanted to try and give them some happiness, as maybe they are going through a really hard time. This is what Jesus would like us to do.The toys are being collected by \u201cThe Mighty Meredith Project\u201d.
