By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>John 13:34-35<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>I chose to go out and buy socks and donate them for the \u201c25 Days of Living in the Light\u201d project because I know how important it is for people who need socks to get them, especially during the colder seasons. I\u2019ve read reports and articles about the most requested item for homeless people in shelters and they are socks. I agree with this and I think that these items are always important for people to have. When I heard about this opportunity for me to help out someone in need, I thought this idea would be perfect. In the spirit of the Holiday season and my year of getting confirmed I\u2019ve wanted to become closer with God and give back to the community in some way. I may be able to help in my Freshman year in High School too. I am truly excited to participate in this with my church because it gives me a different perspective on my life to think about other people\u2019s lives, compared to mine. In this project, I hope to help people and learn new things.
