I\u2019ll ask you to think about what you are grateful for <em>today<\/em>. When we pray in the Lord\u2019s Prayer, \u201cGive us this day our daily bread,\u201d Martin Luther reminds us that our prayer is in gratitude for everything we need from day to day: food and drink, clothes and shoes, good government (!), health, a good name, favorable weather, and many other things we probably don\u2019t take the time to consider each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I sit in Caf\u00e9 Nero writing this reflection, today I am grateful for a comfortable place to sit and think, the buzz of community around me, a fine cup of hot coffee, a gift card that paid for said coffee, technology that connects me to others around the world, a portable laptop, a warm sweater (someone keeps opening the door here \ud83d\ude0a), friendly baristas, &nbsp;quiet jazz music playing in the background, and if I spent another 10 minutes, I\u2019m sure my list would grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For what are you thankful for each day?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pastor Jen<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of us are looking forward to Thanksgiving next week\u2026an opportunity to visit with family perhaps, a special meal filled with special memories perhaps, a football game perhaps.
