Thus says the Lord, the one who created you, O Israel, who formed you, O Jacob: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” -Isaiah 43:1
Dear Friends in Christ,
As we hear in Isaiah, each one of us is named and called by God! This is a big
deal! God knows us. God loves us. God’s call is for us to respond by using our gifts and
sharing that love with others.
Faith Lutheran has always been a generous congregation. Recently, our youth
raised funds for a family in Guatemala; our bell choir played in a community concert;
cans and cans of pumpkin and peanut butter were given to Operation Delta Dog; and October
donations to the Village Food Hub are already piling up.
Thank you for your continued generosity! In 2025, your gifts will fuel vibrant
worship, outreach, and creative opportunities for our youth.
We invite you now to consider how God is calling you to take part in our ministry
in the coming year. Prayerfully consider your time, money, and skills and make a
commitment as to how you might help further the mission of the church.
We ask three things of you:
- Financial commitment: Consider giving a percentage of your household income. If you know what your current percentage is, consider increasing it by 0.5% or 1% this year. Submit your commitment using this online form by November 17.
- Time and talent: Consider new ways to serve in 2025, whether it’s helping with
property, participating in worship, or welcome guests. Share your interests using
this online form.

- Thank Someone: Take a moment to thank someone from church or the
community for how they’ve responded to God’s call. Thank them for their
generosity using the form in our lobby and and post it on our bulletin board.

Thank you for continuing to support the ministry of Faith Lutheran with your gifts of time, money, and skills.
