After Sunday’s service has ended, you are invited to continue in fellowship with coffee hour. We call it Coffee Hour but it really is Fellowship Hour. This is a time after the church service has ended to talk with friends, meet new people, relax and enjoy conversation. Our hosts provide light refreshments, coffee, tea, lemonade and water. We also try to include a healthy alternative alongside our sweet treats so that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Children and adults alike enjoy Faith’s movie club, which pairs great movies with terrific food and interesting discussions.
Women of Faith, did you know we have a Book Club? We’re the Chick Lits and we usually meet the first Tuesday every other month. All women are welcome! Check out our current book schedule.
If you wish to join us or would like to be put on the email list for future books and dates, please email Peggy Giordano at email@example.com.
Our Youth Program
We have a strong, vibrant youth ministry program at Faith with three Faith Lutheran Youth (FLY) groups to participate in:
- Fire FLY for kids in grades 3 through 6
- FLY for kids in grades 6 through 8
- Super FLY for high school age youth
The program is rocket-fueled by our full-time Youth Director Tom Schauer. There’s tons of great activities such as games, lock-ins, backpacking, rafting, and service projects. We believe that our kids are a vital part of our community and truly are the future of the church.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Faith is a week of fun religious education for kids (preschool to Grade 8). We use themed activities to entertain kids and give them the chance to learn about God. Vacation Bible School is an easy way to get kids involved in church while giving parents an opportunity to meet others in the church. This year, Pastor Marsha served as tour guide as the kids met Paul in “Rome and the Underground Church”. Visit our VBS Video Archive for a peek at past experiences!
At one or more Sunday services during the Christmas season, our youth present our annual Christmas pageant. Children age three and up are welcome to participate.
Church Christmas Decorating
Families gather one day each year to decorate the church sanctuary for the Christmas season. Trees are trimmed, wreathes are hung, “giving trees” are set up in the narthex, and there’s usually food involved!
